Paste the text of your resume below for an instant check of 12 common problems that stop resumes being parsed by applicant tracking systems (ATS) or read by recruiters. To check keywords, paste the job description too.
Private: the check runs entirely in your browser. Your resume is not uploaded, sent or stored anywhere. Honest limits: these are mechanical checks of text patterns. They can't judge how good your writing is or how well you fit the role, and there's no "ATS score" here because no single score exists across ATS software.
Want the part a checker can't do? The ₹999 ATS resume and LinkedIn review is a line-by-line written review of your actual wording, structure and fit for your target roles, typically 15–25 specific fixes, delivered by email within 3 business days. It's written by Norea's AI reviewer, and we're upfront about that.
What this checks, and why
Contact details: email, phone and LinkedIn URL in the body text, where parsers can find them.
Standard section headings such as "Experience", "Education" and "Skills", which parsers use to file your details.
Length: very short resumes look thin, and very long ones get skimmed.
Weak phrases like "responsible for" and "worked on" that describe duties rather than results.
Numbers: how many lines show a measurable result.
Action verbs: how many lines start with one.
Personal details common in Indian resumes but not needed by recruiters (date of birth, marital status, religion, father's name).
First-person words ("I", "my") in bullet points.
Date formats: whether they are consistent, so parsers can work out your tenure.
Symbols and icons that many parsers drop or garble.
Filler lines such as "References available on request" or a "Declaration".
Keywords from the job description that are missing from your resume.
